During VBS, I would like to help in one or more of the following areas:

Prayer Partner - Spends time praying for all preparation and people who are involved as they seek to point each one to Christ.

Prayer Partner Coordinator - Sends out prayer requests and encourages others in various ways to pray for VBS leading up to and during the week.

Master/Mistress of Ceremonies - Leads the on-stage activities during the opening and closing period, including songs, games, offering, button club, and introducing the skit squad.

Skit Squad Leader - Organizes skits, chooses actors, coordinates skit practices leading up to VBS, and oversees production of skits during VBS week.

Skit Squad Member - Practices in advance of VBS, helps with props, and goofs off in front of kids as directed by the Skit Squad Leader during the week.

Sound Room Leader - Coordinates the A/V needs before the VBS program begins, and runs the sound board during opening and closing programs.

Sound Room Team - Assists the Sound Room Leader with preparations for VBS and with running the sound board during the opening and closing programs.

Photographer - Takes pictures following the events and festivities of VBS. Organizes photos after each VBS for marketing and posting. Takes group and class pictures of VBS.

Pianist - Prepares in advance for the songs picked for the week of VBS. Plays accompaniment for the opening and closing programs. Works with the MC to prepare.

Classroom Lead Teacher - Plans, prepares, and teaches the bible lesson and memory verse of the day. Accompanies the children as they rotate from station to station.

Classroom Assistant Teacher - Assists the lead teacher. Accompanies the children from station to station. Steps into the lead teacher role if the lead teacher is unable to.

Classroom Helper - Assists the lead teacher and assistant teacher with their roles.

Adult/Teen Lead Teacher - Leads an adult/teen class. Learns the same bible lessons as the kids, but all other stations will also be led by the same teachers rather than rotating.

Adult/Teen Helper - assists the lead teacher(s) with anything they need and may step into the lead role if the lead teacher(s) are unable to.

Kitchen Leader - Responsible for organizing and serving the snacks for each night of VBS. Cleans up the kitchen each evening and does any necessary snack prep for the next night.

Kitchen Helper - Assists the kitchen coordinator with the above responsibilities. If the kitchen leader cannot be present, the kitchen helper leads the kitchen for the night.

Game Leader - Engages the kids in games/activities relevant to their age group. Sets up games at the start of the evening cleans up at the end of the night.

Game Helper - Assists the game leader with overseeing the games as well as with any necessary set up or cleanup.

Craft Leader - Plans the daily crafts and purchases the needed supplies ahead of time. Sets up and manages the craft room, handing out completed crafts, and related cleanup throughout the week.

Craft Helper - Assists the Craft Leader in preparing the crafts, helping children with the craft, distributing completed crafts, and making sure the craft room is cleaned up at the end of each night.

Missionary Story Teller - repares and shares the missionary story for each day, seeking to engage the children, and foster a burden to share the gospel with others around them.

Registration Team - Seeks to connect with children and their parents while helping fill out the necessary forms, put on wristbands, and hand out tickets for each day.

Friday Night Carnival Leader - Coordinates the Carnival - prepares and finalizes all the games, coordinates food with the Kitchen Leader, coordinates the set up crew, game helpers, and tear down.

Friday Night Carnival Set Up Crew - Responsible for helping set up and tear down for the Friday Night Carnival.

Friday Night Carnival Game Helper - Responsible for manning the carnival stations.

Nursery Worker - Responsible for staffing the nursery Monday through Friday.

Floater - Responsible to fill (float) any roles that need filled - one of the VBS Committee team will help assign floaters to roles each night (as needs will be different each night).
